The Stahla name has been part of the manufactured home business since 1949. Ray Stahla grew up in the manufactured housing industry, his parents started business in Grand Island, NE in 1967. Ray gained valuable experience selling in their different locations in Grand Island, Kearney, Lincoln, and Gillette, WY, and worked in their manufacturing plant as well as delivered and set up homes.
After attending college at the University of Nebraska Omaha, Ray soon married Julie Stahla (1987) and started their own business, Stahla Homes in 1995. Starting with limited backing and very high stakes, Ray and Julie slowly transformed Stahla Homes into the business it is today. All of us here at Stahla Homes feel lucky to have a business in the great state of Nebraska, where we have met such wonderful people.
